Well , still snowed in here , we can get out and about but muggins here can't work in these conditions so all my tree customers will have to wait, so nothing to do but take photo's if i'm allowed that is .

Yep forgot all about that , this year I am going to try and blog more regular and I am on a mission to create some youtube vids , my friend and neighbour Dylan Winter has a few and he earns money at it , go to youtube and punch in his name , amazingly he gets most hits from his big truck vids, there are some dull people out there.

This shot was taken while doing a feature for a magazine , it wasn't in the brief but it presented itself to me so I used a shallow depth of field and went in tight.

This is a photo a client took of me up a tree doing my secondary job Tree Surgery, here I am dismantling an overgrown Eucylyptus tree which was threatening the neighbours garage.

I was bored and wanted to take pictures but couldn't get my head round what to shoot , so I ran round the garden spinning the camera with a snap of the wrist with a longish exposure at just about anything that caught my eye. I got some interesting results , Tumble is one .

I was in Copenhagen visiting a friend, the little Beast.
And with my trusty Nikon FM2 loaded with Ilford FP4 spotted this queue of shadows stood in line.The border is created with filing the negative holder so the light kind of bleeds into the image .

This is my most recent sale , it is a little clay rabbit sat out on a table at my mum's house , they have a spectacular view, and in the summer the highlight of the day is to sit outside and watch the sun melt into the sea. So that was an easy shot to grab.

Hide and Seek

This shot is a of my little boy , I had an idea of ghostly images of children inspired by that Bruce Willis film (which I now can't remember the name of , senility is setting in ) . I deliberately put him out of focus and whacked up the contrast , there is a strange white blur on his left shoulder , not a clue what that is , spooky eh!

I shot this image for a friend who was in love with the tree , the rain had just passed and the sun was setting , I had waited for the right light and time of year as I wanted a sillohette , you can find other tree photo's in my etsy shop.
